What is eLeave?

eLeave is a smart online leave management system that allows users to apply for leave conveniently anytime and anywhere. eLeave is designed with auto-routing for approval and online leave approving capabilities, making every leave application a total breeze for those applying as well as those approving.

How do I apply for leave using eLeave?

To apply for leave, simply follow these steps:

  1. Once you have logged in to the eLeave module, click on the 'eLeave Form' icon.
  2. The eLeave application form will be displayed. Indicate your leave period and type on the form.
  3. Select the recommending/approving officer for your leave application from the name list provided. If you do not have a leave recommending officer, you can proceed to leave that field blank. The selected name will appear as your default recommending/approving officer until you make a new selection in the future.
  4. Click on the 'Just Submit' icon after you have completed your leave application form. If you have indicated a recommending officer for your leave application, the form will automatically be routed first to him/her for recommendation, before it is routed to your approving officer for final approval.

How is my leave recommending/approving officer notified of my leave application?

Your leave recommending/approving officer will automatically receive an email alert informing him/her of your leave application. He/She can simply click on the link in the email to login to the system to review and process your leave application. An email will automatically be sent to you once the status of your leave application (i.e. approved/rejected) is confirmed.

How do I inform my company's Human Resource department about my leave application?

Companies usually appoint an officer from their Human Resource department as the administrator for eLeave to facilitate record keeping. As the appointed eLeave administrator, the officer will receive a copy of your leave application via email whenever there is a submission from you. The eLeave administrator can also choose to print out a complete leave application summary at the end of each week/month.

How do I know if my leave application is approved?

An email will be sent to you automatically once the status of your leave application (i.e. leave approved/rejected) is confirmed. You can also check your leave status by clicking on the 'Leave History' icon once you have logged in to the eLeave module. The status (i.e. leave approved/rejected/pending) pertaining to each leave application is clearly indicated. To see more details pertaining to each leave application, simply click on the 'JustOpen' icon next to each leave application.

How do I check my leave history?

Simply click on the 'Leave History' icon once you have logged in to the eLeave module and your leave history will be displayed.

Can I cancel a pending or approved leave application?

Yes, you can. First, click on the 'Leave History' icon after you have logged in to the 'eLeave' module. To cancel a pending or approved leave application, select the leave application by checking against its corresponding box in the 'Cancel' column. The application to cancel your pending or approved leave application will be routed to your leave recommending/approving officer for their action. An email will be sent to you automatically once the status of your application (i.e. approved/rejected) is confirmed.

Can I make changes to my leave application form after it has been submitted?

You will not be able to make changes to your leave application after it has been submitted. However, you can cancel the existing leave application and apply for a new one.

As the approving officer, how do I review a leave application from my staff?

As the approving officer, you will automatically receive an email alert when a leave application is submitted by your staff. To review the leave application, simply follow these steps:

  1. Click on the link in the email. It will bring you directly to the 'Pending Actions' page.
  2. At the 'Pending Actions' page, you will see a list of leave applications for your review. To approve or reject a leave application, simply indicate 'Yes' or 'No' under the 'Approve' column against that particular leave application.
  3. Click on the 'OK' icon to submit your decision once you have reviewed the leave application.

As the approving officer, how do I see my leave approval history?

To see your leave approval history, simply click on the 'Approval History' icon once you have logged in to the eLeave module.

Am I able to see a calendar summary of all my leave for the month?

Yes, you can. To see your leave calendar summary for the month, simply click on the 'Calender' icon once you have logged in to the eLeave module. If you are the leave approving officer, you can also view the leave calendar summary for all the leave applications that you have approved for the month.
