Prior to SES, Kim Chiong spent 11 years with Defence Science Organisation (DSO), holding the position of Head of IT when he left in 1995. During his tenure, DSO became an "intelligent enterprise". It was here where he pioneered electronic workflow, project management systems, electronic procurement systems and electronic forms, all at a time when such applications were unheard of.
Following that, Kim Chiong formed ISI Singapore Pte Ltd, a software development company owned by Singapore Technologies and Greek company ISI Hellas. Here he was the Director Of Programs and Business Development, where he secured a S$10 million software project for the company.
Kim Chiong has an honours degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the National University of Singapore.
His track record speaks for itself. He helped to turn around a mobile handphone retail outfit in Singapore, multiplying sales figures 16-fold in just 15 months. He was also behind the launch of the first mobile phone in Indonesia, the Nokia 480 Cityman, raking in $20 million sales within the first year.
Mark has a Bachelor degree in Computer Science and an MBA in e-Commerce. He is an avid flyer and a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
Tan Surya heads all of JustLogin's technological development programmes. Before JustLogin, he was an Associate Research Fellow at the Gintic Institute of Manufacturing Technology. He was involved in Supply Chain Management and led the Value Chain initiative in encouraging eBusiness in SMEs. He conceptualized and designed the Value Chain Operation over the Internet, including the creation and implementation of a parts library data dictionary. Surya has over 12 years of experience in software development and hardware/software integration.
Surya graduated as the top student in Bandung Institute of Technology in Indonesia with a degree in Engineering Physics. He also holds a Master in Control Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
James heads JustLogin country office in China. He brings to JustLogin over 14 years of experience in the software industry.
Before JustLogin, James spent a good 8 years with top software company IBM/Lotus, serving stints in its various country offices in Japan, New York, Singapore and China. In his tenure, he was involved in R&D as well as sales & marketing. He was also among the pioneers in opening up the China market for IBM/Lotus applications. Prior to that, he was involved in software development with the National Computer Board.
James' passion is in computer science, and he holds a Bachelor and a Master in the discipline, from the Central South University of Technology, China and the prestigious Beijing University respectively.
