What is eMeeting?
eMeeting is a virtual private meeting room within your company network. eMeeting allows you to conduct online meetings at real-time, anytime and anywhere, without having to incur expensive communication costs.

What is the difference between eMeeting and the other chat rooms?
eMeeting is your company's private chat room accessible only to your company's registered users. Unlike the other chat rooms, eMeeting allows your company's users to communicate with one another in total privacy.

How do I use eMeeting?
Once you have logged in to the eMeeting module, you will see a list of meeting rooms that have been created for your use. Choose the meeting room that you wish to enter by checking against it. Then click on the 'Join Meeting Room' icon to enter the selected meeting room. To start chatting, simply type your message in the 'Say' box and click on 'Send' icon to broadcast the message.

Can I create a new meeting room in eMeeting?
You can create a new meeting room only if you are the Superuser / eMeeting administrator. To do so, click on the 'Create Meeting Room' icon that is available only to the Superuser / eMeeting administrator. Enter the name of the new meeting room and click on the 'Create' icon.

Can I delete an existing meeting room in eMeeting?
To do so, click on the 'Create Meeting Room' icon that is available only to the Superuser / eMeeting administrator. Select the meeting room to be deleted by checking against it. Click on the 'Delete' icon once you have made your selection.

Will everyone be able to see the exchange of contents in the meeting rooms?
Your company's meeting rooms are only accessible to your company's users. They are the only ones who can see the exchange of contents in the meeting rooms.

Can I restrict anyone from entering a chat room?
No, you are not able to do so at this moment. However, you can choose to send a private message to another user who is in the same chat room through the 'whisper mode'. To do so, type your message in the 'Say' box, select the recipient of your private message by clicking on his/her name and click on the 'Send' icon. The 'whisper mode' ensures total privacy as the message sent can only be seen and read by the pre-determined recipient of the message.

How do I reply to a message that has been sent to me through the 'whisper mode'?
To reply to a message that has been sent to you through the 'whisper mode', simply follow the same instructions given in FAQ 5.6.

How do I leave a meeting room?
You can leave a meeting room by simply clicking the 'Leave' icon.
