JustLogin, Singapore's application service provider, today
officially announced at Internet World Asia @ Hong Kong 2000, the launch and
availability of their comprehensive suite of office collaborative applications
at their flagship portal, www.justlogin.com. Targeted towards their expansion
plans in Asia, JustLogin aims to be the ASP-of-choice for Hong Kong's
businesses and organizations.
"After several stages of planning, and
through the concerted effort from the team players, we know this is the right
time to roll-out our applications in Hong Kong, " said Kwa Kim Chiong, CEO of
JustLogin. "We believe our applications will help our potential users in
Hong Kong to improve in their office productivity and efficiency."
A
spin-off from Singapore Technologies Electronics Ltd, JustLogin plans to
market their applications through partners. It will also be available directly
from the Hong Kong office which will be established in November 2000.
The applications-on-tap offered by JustLogin via traditional
computer systems or wireless application protocol (WAP), make it easier for
businesses and organisations to conduct internal surveys, manage their human
resources, allocate office resources, carry out real-time online meetings, post
announcements, communicate, share information and more. Users need only to
register at the portal and carry out some minor configurations. Within minutes,
an organisation is wired to experience the freedom of office administration, at
anytime and from anywhere in the world.
To date, the portal has 4500
registered companies, some of which are large organisations such as the Singapore
Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Channel NewsAsia, CET Technologies
and CCH Asia.
Future plans for JustLogin include working with
partners to enhance the use of applications like Interactive Voice Response,
unified messaging system, intelligent forms routing, and a personal information
manager with RSVP capability.
JustLogin has been nominated as one
of the five grand finalists in the "Killer Application of the Year" category in
this year's Internet World Asia Industry Awards 2000. The category recognises
companies who have developed software products serving to advance, capitalise
on, enable or promote the use of the Internet. JustLogin was chosen from a
list of more than 500 nominations from public and corporate Internet users
across Asia.
