Why Green IT?

Green IT holds significant growth potential as it not only entails energy savings across different business and industries, but reduced resource consumption and the proper disposal of e-wastes.

With the adoption of green IT and energy efficient technology, there is a potential of better energy efficiency and thus lower energy costs for businesses, and more importantly as one of the key contributing components in making Singapore an energy efficient economy.

Green IT Adoption Index Survey

To further raise awareness and promote adoption in green IT practices under the overarching theme of Sustainable Development, SBF together with IBM and Frost & Sullivan are jointly initiating a Green IT Adoption Index Survey amongst Singapore companies to help understand current level of adoption, identify potential gaps and therefore measures to help address these gaps.
