eTimecharge is designed to track and report the amount of time an employee spends on any given project task. This information enables project managers and
management:
To track the cost and progress of the projects.
Know who has been working on the projects, how much time each of them has spent, and on what tasks.
The project time charging system alerts management to cost and schedule overruns at an early stage of development to give management the chance to investigate the cause for such overruns (e.g. whether someone has been spending too much time on a certain task, or if the complexity of the task was under-estimated).
To move the process along, eMail messages will prompt team members to submit their time sheets for approval – all electronically without the use of paper. eTimecharge will capture all the data and generate a report which may be electronically exported.
