A web-based project time-charging system
eTimecharge is a project management tool designed to track and report the amount of time an employee spends on any given project task. This information enables project managers to:
- track cost and progress of each project
- identify who has been working on the projects, how much
time each of them has spent and on which tasks
The project time charging system alerts management to cost and schedule overruns at an early stage of development to allow investigations of such overruns (e.g. whether someone has been spending too much time on a certain task, or if the complexity of the task was under-estimated).
To move the process along, eMail messages will prompt team members to submit their time sheets for approval – all electronically without the use of paper. eTimecharge will captures all the data and generates a report which may be electronically exported.
